Payment

Our checkout process allows you to use:

1. Google Checkout
2. PayPal Checkout
3. Our regular shopping cart checkout

Google and PayPal Checkout systems allow you to enter your payment information once and use it on multiple sites. They allow you to purchase from us without setting up an Egyptian Cotton Tshirts account (i.e. they allow you to purchase as an anonymous user).

You can also pay with a regular PayPal payment. To do this, chose option 3 above. You will see this option on the same page with the credit card payment info (after choosing your shipping preference). If you chose this option, please be sure to click on the link to come back to our site after the PayPal payment, so that the sale can be finalized.

Egyptian Cotton Tshirts regular shopping cart checkout accepts: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards, in addition to PayPal.

You may also purchase items by mail and pay by check or money order. To order by mail:

Shipping

Orders are processed in the order in which they are received. Items are sent against cleared funds. [Most payment methods clear the same day, except checks which usually require 5 business days for US checking accounts. Money orders clear immediately and can be purchased inexpensively from a US Post Office.]

If an item is not in stock, then it is on backorder. Customers are notified if any of the items ordered are on backorder. In such cases, the delay is usually 7 to 21 days.

FULFILLMENT: We ship orders on Tuesday (and if we have enough orders to fulfill, we also ship on Friday) excluding holidays. The cutoff time on a ship day is 12:15 pm EST. Holiday 2009 schedule: Dec 8 (Tues), Dec 11 (Fri), Dec 15 (Tues), Dec 18 (Fri), Dec 21 (Mon), and Dec 23 (Wed).

If shipping is delayed for some reason beyond our control, we will notify you by e-mail immediately and you may elect to cancel the order at that time.

US Shipping

Ground Shipping: The default carrier for destinations within the United States is the U.S. Postal Service using their Priority Mail (with tracking) service.

International Shipping

International buyers are responsible for customs duties. Such duties are not included in the calculated shipping charges. Please note that if you choose FedEx as the carrier, they charge a customs brokerage fee that they will collect directly from you upon delivery.

We prefer that you choose a service that has tracking. The least expensive option is usually U.S. Postal Priority Mail International.

If you choose First Class Mail International service from the United States Postal Service [USPS], then there is no tracking available. You will bear the risk if the package goes missing. Our customers have experienced good service from this shipment method so far, and it is an affordable method. We feel that it is best to have tracking service, but we want our international customers to have the option if they need it.

Tracking Your Package

If you have a tracking or delivery confirmation number, you can track your package by going to the carrier’s web page for tracking and entering the tracking number. The shipping method and carrier will be provided in your shipment confirmation e-mail and Your Account. Contact information for each carrier is:

Returns

Egyptian Cotton Tshirts understands that sometimes a buyer wants to return an item, for various reasons. To be eligible for return the product must be:

• in saleable condition = does NOT need washing or ironing
• received within 45 days of original shipment

If items are not deemed to be "saleable" by ECT, we reserve the right to refund partial amounts.

The refund for the full sales price will be issued within 1 week of receipt by Egyptian Cotton Tshirts. The buyer is responsible for shipping costs including the cost to return items. There is no reimbursement for shipping, unless the reason for the return was due to an error made by Egyptian Cotton Tshirts.

Please also note, that WE WILL NO LONGER OFFER EXCHANGES.  We will continue to offer our 45 money back guarantee, so all customers may receive a refund if we receive the product any time, up to 45 days after purchase.  Therefore, if a customer wishes to exchange any product, they will have to return the product, receive their refund, and then reorder.  We encourage all customers to pay careful attention to sizing.  We offer the sizing of all products  on their respective product pages, and of course you may email us with any questions, or call us.  Thank you.

Privacy

This policy covers Customer Information, which means information you give us regarding credit cards and contact information such as email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses.

We give care and attention to safeguard Customer Information and keep it confidential. Our employees and contractors are bound by written agreements and the integrity of their personal commitment to keep Customer Information confidential. The information that they have access to does NOT include credit card information.

We may provide companies that do work for us access to the database that stores Customer Information. The information that they have access to does NOT include credit card information. They are bound by respective confidentiality contracts to hold any Customer Information confidential. They are also contractually bound to use the Customer information we share only to provide the services we ask them to perform.

Our shopping cart is PABP compliant and has been audited by an independent certifying organization to this effect. The server that hosts this website is set up with a firewall that prevents hackers for getting to see Customer Information.

Security

Our site does NOT store credit card information. We do not capture it in any way.

Our shopping cart software is officially certified to be compliant with VISA Payment Application Best Practices [PABP Certified]. It is one of a just a few shopping carts that have established this high level of security.

Payments on our site are transacted either on PayPal servers or Google servers. In transit between our site and PayPal or Google, your information is protected with an encryption key length of 256 bits that is enabled with an SSL certificate from GoDaddy.com.*

Google Checkout processes payments on Google servers. Google Checkout is a fast, safe and convenient way to shop online. Google fraud protection policy covers you against unauthorized purchases made through Google Checkout, and they don't share your purchase history or full credit card number with us. Google implements state-of-the-art security for storing financial information and processing your payments. PayPal checkout works in a similar way.

Our regular checkout process utilizes a service from PayPal called Website Payments Pro. We integrate with them and they handle everything involved in processing credit cards payments. Whether you use our regular checkout process or use the regular PayPal payment method, you assured of having protection from PayPal's security measures.
